Two children were killed in a recreational vehicle (RV) fire in Liberty County, Texas, on Tuesday morning. Firefighters from the Cleveland Fire Department and deputies from the Liberty County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene around 5:30 a.m. and found the RV partially collapsed. The children — a 3-year-old boy and his 2-year-old sister — were found inside and pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters received the report of the fire around 5:25 a.m. Despite the risk of collapse, they entered the RV but could not save the children. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Liberty County Marshal's Office, including the circumstances of the parents' whereabouts.
