Fire crews were dispatched to a vehicle fire on State Route 9 east of the Kolob Terrace Road intersection, according to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue. A small camper was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived. The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. No injuries were reported, as everyone in the vehicle was able to get out safely. The fire was quickly extinguished, but eastbound and westbound traffic on State Route 9 was briefly stopped to allow firefighters to safely put out the fire on the road. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
