On Monday afternoon, an RV parked under a metal carport in the 250 block of Burns Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado, caught fire. According to one source, the flames spread to nearby bushes and trees, threatening homes and vegetation. Another source states that the fire did not spread to adjacent structures or vegetation.
Firefighters deployed approximately 400 feet of hose to supply water due to the lack of nearby hydrants. The blaze was extinguished within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
