Stolen motorhome traced in Hartlepool
Between 13 and 14 April, a motorhome was stolen from Ugthorpe near Whitby. The owner tracked it to Hartlepool using a tracker, and police located it with a drone. The investigation continues.
Illegal puppy farm in a caravan
Micaela Anderson-Letts pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to animals. In July 2021, police seized 35 puppies and one dog from a caravan in Eastbourne; 14 puppies required hospitalisation, one died of dehydration and starvation. She was ordered to pay £157,269.25 within three months or face 18 months in prison. She also received a 24-month suspended sentence, a lifetime ban on keeping animals, and 300 hours of unpaid work.

Caravan stolen in Tipperary
Overnight on 14–15 April, a Bailey Pursuit caravan was stolen from Midlough, Cloughjordan. Two pressure washers were taken from Glenahilty, tools from commercial vehicles in Tyone and on the Dublin Road, and a car was broken into in Kilcommon. Gardaí urge vigilance.

Sentence for caravan theft
A 40-year-old Warrnambool man pleaded guilty to stealing a caravan worth $79,000. He was sentenced to 80 days in prison (already served) and 150 hours of community service.
