On the evening of June 5, 2026, a fire broke out inside a caravan at the beginning of Jordan Street (also referred to as Al-Urdu Street) in the Tabrbour area of Amman. According to the Public Security Directorate and other sources, the cause was a gas leak from a gas cylinder, accompanied by a bang (some sources specify a limited bang).
Civil defense personnel contained and extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring structures. No injuries were reported; damage was limited to material losses inside the caravan. An investigation is underway.
