On June 17, 2026, a collision involving a campervan and two cars occurred on the D50 road in Saint-Laurent-du-Mont (Calvados). Sources differ on the number of casualties: some report four injured, others six, with two men (aged 34 and 25) hospitalized in serious condition at the Caen University Hospital.
A 32-year-old woman and a five-year-old girl were taken to Lisieux hospital with minor injuries. Two other participants were unharmed. Traffic on the D50 was halted to free the victims. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
