Two Beijing RV exhibitions in 2026: April and March

On June 14, the Beijing Auto Museum held a themed event tied to the film 'North of the Tropic of Cancer'. The program included an exclusive trailer screening, a discussion with the director and actors, and a motorhome display on the museum square. The film is set for nationwide release on June 19, 2026.

Chengde Muniu Di Outdoor Equipment Sales Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of travel trailers, achieved annual revenue of 12 million yuan (about $1.7 million) through a livestream-based sales strategy. Since 2023, the company shifted from traditional offline channels to digital marketing, broadcasting live from its showroom and production workshops. Over two years, it accumulated 45,000 followers on social media, primarily end users and wholesale buyers, expanded sales nationwide, and began receiving overseas orders.

Changan Fengjing RV has launched the Changan Hunter Feizhu, a new pickup-based motorhome priced at 24.98 million yuan. Built on the Changan Hunter K70 chassis, it is positioned as a hybrid off-road pickup motorhome. It features a 2.0-liter BlueCore hybrid powertrain with dual electric motors, delivering a combined torque of 555 Nm, and a 43.47 kWh CATL battery with 2C fast charging. Total energy capacity in full charge and fuel mode is 239 kWh. The removable aluminum living module allows the vehicle to be used as a regular pickup for daily commuting. Inside, it offers sleeping space for 3–4 people, a folding table, and a sink. Standard equipment includes a 2 kW induction cooker, carbon monoxide and smoke alarms, and a 2 kg fire extinguisher.

A Chinese tour operator introduced a family motorhome tour lasting 3 days and 2 nights. The itinerary includes Lushan Xihai Lake, water sports, a canyon with a 1,800-meter glass bridge, and the hometown of Li Shizhen in Qichun County, with workshops on traditional medicine and pottery. The program features lakeside camping, barbecue, and guided excursions. Pricing and departure dates are listed in the announcement.

Chinese companies BLUETTI, EcoFlow, and Jackery have been identified as top suppliers of RV power solutions. The global RV market is projected to exceed 2.4 million units shipped annually by 2026. BLUETTI offers modular systems with 6,000-cycle life, EcoFlow provides smart ecosystems with 8,000W surge power, and Jackery targets entry-level users with portable units.

On June 15, Beijing hosted the premiere of 'North of the Tropic of Cancer', China's first feature film about RV travel. Director Zhao Hantang and actors presented the movie, which will be released on June 26.
