The German motorhome Hymer ML-T has received two off-road modifications, CrossOver and Crosstrail. Based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, they feature off-road tires, underbody protection, and an extended autonomy package for up to 10 days. Prices start from 159,900 euros.

The city of Mössingen has transferred the management of the popular but outdated motorhome parking lot near the outdoor pool to a private company. A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to nine years and three months in prison for a series of arson attacks and attempted murder. In June 2025, he set fire to several cars and an occupied caravan where a man was sleeping. The court considered the treacherous nature of the attack on a sleeping and defenseless victim as an aggravating circumstance.

A caravan caught fire on Tuesday afternoon on the edge of a forest in Contwig. Firefighters contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading to the woodland; property damage is estimated at a four-figure sum in euros.

A couple from Moers converted an old 1973 Nagetusch motorhome into a mobile crêperie with a coffee bar. They bought the trailer on eBay Kleinanzeigen, spent two years renovating it while preserving the original exterior, but increased its weight to 1300 kg and added brakes. Since 2021, they have been serving crêpes and coffee at regional events.
