Van conversion into motorhome combines luxury with off-road capabilities

San Diego County sheriff's officials arrested two men in connection with the death of 52-year-old Ruben Cervantes, who was fatally assaulted inside his motorhome in January 2025. Adrian Garcia, 28, and Issac Santana, 26, were taken into custody on June 3 and booked into San Diego Central Jail. The assault occurred on Sweetwater Road on Jan. 19; deputies discovered Cervantes dead four days later during a medical aid call. An autopsy determined he died from injuries sustained in the attack.

Construction of an $8 million RV park with 67 hookup sites broke ground on June 11 in Danbury Township, Ohio. The project includes 16 permanent log cabins, a bathhouse, pavilion, commercial fish cleaning, boat and golf cart storage, laundromat, convenience and tackle store, bar, restaurant, and ice cream parlor. The first RV sites and six cabins are expected to open in spring 2027, with full completion by fall 2027.
