Jebel Zaghouan National Park: visits and camping banned until October 31

The Regional Directorate for Agricultural Development in Zaghouan announced a ban on public visits and camping in Djebel Zaghouan National Park from May 1 to October 31, 2026. Only authorized scientific visits by the General Directorate of Forests and the Ecological Museum are permitted. Campfires in forests and within 500 meters of them and crops are also prohibited to prevent wildfires.

The Regional Delegation for Agricultural Development in Zaghouan has banned visits and camping in Jebel Zaghouan National Park from May 1 to October 31, 2026. Only authorized scientific visits by the General Directorate of Forests and the Ecological Museum are permitted. Lighting fires in forests is also prohibited, with a safety distance of at least 500 meters from forests and crops. The measure aims to prevent forest fires during the summer.
