Scarborough Town Council has urged a reconsideration of the overnight parking ban for motorhomes and campervans on the seafront. The council states the ban has led to displacement into residential areas, causing noise, waste disposal issues, and competition for parking. It proposes a controlled, paid overnight parking scheme on Marine Drive as an alternative.
