A two-hour parking limit for RVs on San Francisco streets takes effect Saturday, putting hundreds of residents at risk of towing. The city identified 489 occupied RVs in May, granting them a six-month exemption, but only 238 have received the required permits as of Tuesday. The city is offering to purchase some RVs for $3,000 to $6,000 and is attempting to find housing for some residents.
