Palo Alto is considering new restrictions on RV parking after a pilot program designating two streets for long-term parking would still leave about 100 vehicles without permits. Councilmember Ed Lauing proposed limiting the number of permits to prevent overflow. The program starts in March, but residents are pushing for a total ban. The city is also exploring additional parking sites and county cooperation.
