Lamezia Terme to build 50-space motorhome parking area
The municipality of Lamezia Terme has launched a tender for the construction of a motorhome parking area in the Capizzaglie district. The project includes 50 parking spaces in a green area next to the geodesic dome converted into a sports hall and the Palagatti sports complex. Funding comes from ministerial funds and municipal co-financing. The base contract value is €243,129.38, including €50,000 for labor costs and €2,742.25 for safety costs. The work must be completed within 150 days.

The municipality of Scarperia e San Piero (Tuscany) has two equipped motorhome areas. In San Piero a Sieve, a large parking lot with water and waste disposal is available, but some vehicles are used as makeshift shelters. In Scarperia, only a water refill and waste dump point exists on Via Boccaccio; overnight parking is not allowed. Mayor Federico Ignesti announced that the municipality received €112,000 from a national fund, co-financed with €28,000, to build a new 20-space motorhome area in La Pineta park.

In Cernobbio, camper driver enters restricted zone, parks on two resident spots
In Cernobbio on Lake Como, a camper driver entered a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) and parked on two spots reserved for residents. The incident occurred around 2:40 PM on a Sunday. Local police did not answer the call, and removal can only be ordered by them.
CI Horon Fit 30: 6.4-metre motorhome with large bathroom and bike garage
Italian manufacturer CI has launched the Horon Fit 30, a narrow motorhome 6.39 m long and 2.15 m wide, built on a Ford Transit chassis. Glamping in Ahrntal: new camping concept in South Tyrol
In the Ahrntal valley, located in the Italian region of South Tyrol, the 'Såndgøld Alpine Glamping' has opened. The project was realized by architect Benedikt Wieser and designer Adrian Vogel. The environmental association GrIG has filed a request for information and measures regarding the advertised opening of a new camper stopover area at Capo Pecora (Sardinia). The site is a Special Conservation Zone (ZSC) under the Natura 2000 network and a zone of integral conservation under the regional landscape plan, where stopovers are prohibited. The request was sent to the Ministries of Environment and Culture, the Sardinia Region, the Regional Environmental Impact Assessment Service, the Superintendence for Architecture and Landscape of Cagliari, and the Municipality of Arbus.
