Maria Rosa Schiavon from Padua has been visiting the island of Lošinj and Camp Poljana every year since 1980, staying from May to October. She did not interrupt her trips even during the Croatian War of Independence. Over more than 45 years, she has cultivated her plot, made friends, and passed on her love for the place to her family. The camp director and a representative of the tourist board presented her with a certificate of appreciation for her loyalty.

Camper broken into at A1 rest area. Slovak woman robbed of over 1300 euros

At the Draganić rest area parking lot on the A1 motorway, an unknown perpetrator broke into a camper with Slovak license plates after midnight yesterday. The perpetrator stole a handbag containing documents and money from a 54-year-old Slovak woman. Material damage exceeds 1300 euros. Police warn about signal jamming devices used during remote locking.
