Traffic jams from Slovenia spill into Croatia: kilometer-long queue near Zaprešić

On Saturday, Croatia saw the start of the first major tourist weekend, while neighboring countries enjoyed a long weekend due to the Pentecost holiday, causing severe traffic congestion on Slovenian roads that partially extended into Croatia. Slovenian television reported kilometer-long queues on the Ljubljana bypass, where a camper van overturned, closing the road for several hours; no injuries were reported.
