On June 7, 2026, around 9:25 AM, a traffic accident occurred on Highway 86 at kilometer 171 between Hanságliget and Jánossomorja. A woman driving a Fiat motorhome with German license plates, for reasons still unclear, crossed into the oncoming lane, drove into a ditch, and came to rest in a field. Volunteer firefighters from Jánossomorja and professional firefighters from Mosonmagyaróvár arrived and disconnected the vehicle's power. According to the indictment, on September 9, 2025, he broke the windshield wipers, struck the mirror, and damaged the rear bumper of the vehicle. The Finnish owner suffered damages of approximately 100,000 forints. The court sentenced the accused to three years of probation.
