Autohome unveils roof tent for Land Rover Defender 110

Headspace Campers has introduced a conversion kit for the Land Rover Defender 110 that turns the vehicle's factory roof into a sleeping space. The exterior remains stock, but when the roof is raised, a 3-inch memory foam mattress unfolds inside, sized for two adults, with a zip-on awning extending over the front and side windows. The conversion adds only 5.5 inches of height and about 209 pounds, preserving the Defender's driving, towing, and off-road capabilities. The premium package includes a paint-matched frame, additional ceiling fans and side awnings, and dual 50-amp Anderson sockets for solar or auxiliary power.

A Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon with TD4 diesel engine has been converted into a full-fledged motorhome. The interior features an L-shaped layout with two benches, a kitchen unit, and a pop-up roof that provides an upper sleeping area. The vehicle includes a 12V water heater, an external shower, a dry toilet, and a 39-liter compressor fridge. Off-road capability is preserved through lightweight soundproofing and insulation, along with modular storage solutions.
