QR codes for evacuation introduced at campsite in Yeoju

Yeoju Urban Corporation has implemented an emergency evacuation system using QR codes at Daesin campsite in Gyeonggi Province. The campsite covers 60,558 sq m and has 85 RV spots and 95 tent spots (180 total). Previously, evacuation route signs were only available in certain zones.

QR codes are placed on electrical distribution panels within 10–30 meters of each site. Visitors CAN scan the code to instantly access the evacuation plan and safety rules. Administrators can update the information in real time, reducing panic risk during emergencies.

The company plans to roll out a similar system at Geummora (Geumeunmorae) campsite.
