Lagoon Ranch Honored as TACO’s Large Park of the Year

Lagoon Ranch Luxury RV & Cabin Resort in Onalaska, Texas, received the Park of the Year Award from the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) in the large park category for campgrounds with over 125 sites. The award was presented on April 21 during TACO’s annual Spring Meeting. The resort opened in April 2025 and features 194 RV sites and 24 custom cabins.

Multiple accidents occurred in Osceola, Iowa, in March 2026, involving motorhomes and trailers. In one incident, a Ford F350 towing a camper struck a parked Chevrolet Silverado while turning, causing $5,000 in damages. Another crash involved a Nissan Rogue hitting a parked GMC Envoy, which then struck a Casey's building, causing $5,000 in structural damage. Four accidents were reported, with one resulting in a pregnant woman being hospitalized.
