Elite Casino Resorts has broken ground on Blackjack Beach, a $35 million water park and RV resort adjacent to Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa. The development will feature a 447-foot lazy river, a 30-foot waterslide, and 154 premium RV sites, with opening planned for summer 2027. The investment aims to attract visitors amid competition from the upcoming Cedar Crossing Casino in Cedar Rapids. Riverside's gaming revenue fell 1.9% to $123.4 million in fiscal 2026.
