Chet Hanks, the 36-year-old son of actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, has moved to Nashville to launch a country music career. He lives in a camper equipped with a kitchen and shower, and also has a barbecue grill outside. Hanks explained that he chose not to rent an apartment or buy a house, preferring mobile living to maintain personal space and focus on his craft.
In an interview on The Tonight Show, he said he spends time in the camper just as he would in a regular home: watching Netflix and relaxing. Since March, he has been posting video blogs from the camper on Instagram, discussing his rejection of luxury and consumerism.
