Josep Jané, a 62-year-old retiree from Barcelona, has been voluntarily maintaining and welcoming guests at the motorhome parking area in Bovera (Lleida) since February. He helps drivers park, informs them about local services, and resolves issues. He moved to the village in April and rents a house there. The initiative was proposed to the municipality, which supported it. The parking area has 9 spaces, with a rotation of 2 per day, hosting over 60 motorhomes monthly, 90% of which are foreign visitors from France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. Jané plans to systematize data collection on visitors. The mayor set a fee of €3/day for electricity and noted that signs prohibit motorhomes from driving through the village.
