According to a PiNCAMP (ADAC) analysis, camping on the German coast in 2026 is significantly cheaper than in other European countries. A family of two adults and one child pays an average of €42 per night, compared to €77 in Croatia, €73 in Italy, and €72 in Spain. The weekly difference reaches €245. Prices for seaside camping abroad are rising faster than in Germany: in France they increased by 13% year-on-year, in Germany by 2%. Within Germany, the most expensive spots are in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (€49 per night), the cheapest in Schleswig-Holstein (€40).
