Chinese company Squirrel Power, founded in 2023, has raised over 200 million yuan in a Series A round. Investors included Oriza Hua, Oriza Rivertown, GSR United Capital and ThunderSoft. The funds will be directed to certification and expansion of production of smart campers with extended range (EREV), which are claimed to operate without external power for a week. Serial production and deliveries are planned for 2027.
Model and pre-orders
At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the company presented the Evotrex-PG5 model priced from 120,000 dollars. The version at 159,990 dollars accounted for about 90% of pre-orders. The main buyers are residents of North America aged 30–45.
