NPA reports steady growth in the pre-owned RV market amid slowing new RV deliveries. Dealers in Canada and the US hold spring sales, while the global RV tankless water heater market is forecast to reach $2.98 billion by 2032.
Pre-owned RV market gains momentum
According to National Powersport Auctions (NPA), the pre-owned RV market is showing steady growth. Buyers are prioritizing affordability and immediate availability, boosting demand for quality used trailers and motorhomes. New RV deliveries have slowed due to rising material costs linked to tariffs and global uncertainty. Wholesale prices for used RVs are rising, and dealers may use auctions to replenish inventory.
Spring sales and promotions
Dealer Sturgeon Woods RV is holding a spring sale in Leamington from April 17–19, offering discounts up to $1,000 and financing with deferred payments for up to six months. Bent’s RV in Louisiana has launched a seasonal clearance event for travel trailers with monthly payments starting at $85 on models such as Keystone Springdale 1800BH, Gulfstream Ameri Lite 248BH, and Prime Time Tracer 190RB. Additionally, Bent’s RV introduced a certified pre-owned RV program featuring comprehensive inspections and extended warranties.
Water heater market forecast
The global RV tankless water heater market is projected to grow from $1.53–1.66 billion in 2025–2026 to $2.98 billion by 2032, according to various sources. The compound annual growth rate is 9.9%. Growth is driven by the increasing number of RV owners and demand for energy-efficient solutions.
