A fire at the Patuxent Camp Sites in Saint Leonard, Maryland, on December 30, 2025, destroyed multiple recreational vehicles and displaced families. Strong winds caused the fire to spread rapidly, involving at least six campers and multiple vehicles, though no injuries were reported. The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
