Joshua Donnelly, 22, from Middlesbrough, has been sentenced for an unprovoked stabbing at the Flamingo Land caravan park in Kirby Misperton. The attack occurred on September 18 after a domestic dispute, when the victim, a 38-year-old man from the Scottish Borders, tried to intervene. The victim suffered three stab wounds, including a punctured colon, and was taken to hospital. Donnelly pleaded guilty to Section 18 wounding with intent and was sentenced on June 12 at York Crown Court.
