Two cases of heatstroke in dogs were reported in Genoa within hours. The first occurred at a motorhome parking lot in Vesima: an English Bulldog was found in critical condition inside a vehicle. The second case happened in the evening on Via Campomorone: a Pomeranian returned from a walk with a body temperature above 41°C. Both dogs were hospitalized at the AniCura La Foce clinic and stabilized. Veterinarians note that brachycephalic breeds like English Bulldogs are particularly at risk.
