77-year-old French singer Daniel Guichard has been using a motorhome for tours instead of hotels for ten years. His current Niesmann + Bischoff motorhome weighs 5.5 tons, has traveled nearly 90,000 km, and, according to the singer, cost as much as a house. Guichard drives it with an old category B license issued before 1976.

The Camping-Quart service has switched to an annual subscription model for motorhome rentals. Two plans are available: for 249 euros per month — seven weeks of rental in the low season; for 299 euros — seven weeks distributed across all seasons, with a limit of 1400 km per week. Maintenance, insurance, and assistance are included.
