Advocates for unhoused people protested San Francisco's new ban on long-term recreational vehicle parking. The city, which counted about 400 RVs in September, has issued permits to 332 vehicles, granting a six-month exemption and priority for permanent housing. Critics argue the city undercounted RVs and failed to notify all residents, while the closure of the city's only safe parking site earlier this year leaves no alternatives.
