Unknown persons slashed the tires of at least six caravans and campers in the Wiehre district of Freiburg. The incidents occurred between March 31 and April 15, 2026, with police investigating a series of intentional property damage cases.

The motorhome dealer Suncoast Wohnmobile is holding the "Womo Italiano" event on April 25–26, 2026, in Alsfeld. The exhibition will feature new motorhome models from brands such as Etrusco, Chausson, and Rimor, as well as used vehicles. Special discounts for purchase and rental will be available to visitors.

A 72-year-old motorhome driver in Würzburg fell asleep at the wheel, causing a collision. He crashed into a street cleaning vehicle and then into a lamppost on Berliner Ring. Police are investigating the incident as a traffic hazard and seeking witnesses.

The driver of a motorhome died after colliding with a tree on the B207 highway near Buchholz. The accident occurred on April 18, 2026, when the vehicle left the road in a slight right-hand curve. The 70-year-old driver died at the scene, while his 53-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. The road was closed for rescue operations for several hours.
