Cat Skrållan travels across Europe in a motorhome: 'Easier than many think'

Swedish couple Margareta and Jens Lauridsen have been traveling in a Carthago Malibu 490 LE motorhome since 2014 with their cat Skrållan. Over three trips (2022–2024), the cat has spent about 150 nights in the motorhome, visiting Germany, Italy, Switzerland and other countries. The owners say traveling with a cat requires only a harness, carrier and EU pet passport with rabies vaccination.

From March 13 to 15, DLF Caravan will hold open days at via Santo Spirito 96 in Caltanissetta. The dealership offers sales, rental, and technical service for motorhomes and is an official dealer of Carthago, Malibu, Pilote, and Chausson. It is the first dedicated motorhome concession in central Sicily, serving the provinces of Enna, Agrigento, and Caltanissetta.

Mercedes-Benz unveils V-Class Marco Polo and Horizon campers at CMT

At the Caravan Motor Touristik (CMT) exhibition, Mercedes-Benz introduced two camper van versions based on the V-Class: the fully-equipped Marco Polo for long trips and the simplified Marco Polo HORIZON for weekend getaways. Both models are under two meters tall and combine design with smart technology. The show also featured Sprinter-based campers from partner manufacturers, including the Carthago c-line, Frankia Platin Final Edition, and Kabe Novum 750 TRAQ.
