Winnebago Industries and Progressive Insurance have formed a strategic partnership to offer Winnebago RV owners access to Progressive insurance solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
AUTO-VOX has introduced the WF4 wireless backup camera system for RVs. The system features three cameras with 1080p HD resolution, providing 360-degree coverage and eliminating blind spots. Installation requires no drilling, and the 7.2-inch monitor can be powered via USB or 12V outlet. The system operates up to 500 feet, includes infrared night vision, and has a built-in DVR with a 32GB memory card.
Shoppers are advised to avoid the Walmart on Route 38 in Lumberton as police investigate a person barricaded inside a motorhome in the store's parking lot. Lumberton Township Police responded Tuesday morning. The department stated the incident is isolated to the Walmart parking lot and poses no known danger to the public. The barricade began around 11 p.m. Monday; further details are pending.

In Utah, a Class A motorhome stuck in soft sand was towed by three vehicles simultaneously, causing the entire front cap—including headlights and dash assembly—to tear off. Footage by Anthony Joseph Pascarella garnered over 123,000 likes within two days. Replacing the cap can cost tens of thousands of dollars, and liability becomes complex if the rescue was performed by fellow campers rather than licensed operators.
The Pickens County Coroner's Office reported that a man died weeks after a camper fire. Taylor Joe Lewis, 93, suffered burns on July 7 at Shannon Circle and was flown to a burn center, where he died on Monday. The cause of death was complications from thermal burns, ruled accidental. The investigation is ongoing.
