Argentine drives 29 hours in motorhome to support national team at World Cup

Hernán Romero, a New York resident, drove 29 hours in a motorhome to Kansas City to attend World Cup matches. With a group of friends, he organized a pre-match party featuring drums, flags, asado, and Fernet. About 50 drummers from various states are expected to participate. Homeland man arrested in Piru for alleged gun, drug offenses

The Goodrich City Council discussed expansion of an RV park, road conditions, and an alderman vacancy. Ponderosa RV Park was approved to expand to 100 RV-only sites, without tiny houses. Utility manager noted RVs use less water (about 30 gallons per person per day vs. 100-120 for houses). Potholes on Pennington Road and a grant application for wastewater ponds were also discussed.
