Japan's Environment Ministry and RV Association sign agreement to provide motorhomes for disaster response

Honda confirmed plans to produce the Base Station modular camper prototype unveiled in January. The company positions it as a lightweight trailer that can be towed by most vehicles, including the CR-V. A production version is expected to be revealed later this year.

A pop-up store featuring the products opened in Tokyo's Kuramae district in early April 2026.
