New motorhome area to open in Albagiara

In Crotone, a 32-year-old man is accused of stealing food from a motorhome used to distribute hot meals to the needy. The suspect, a Pakistani national, was identified via surveillance cameras after taking the vehicle, unloading part of the cargo, and returning it. The goods were recovered, and the man faces charges of aggravated theft and misappropriation.

The Italian motorhome industry is showing steady growth, particularly in Tuscany. In 2025, Italy registered nearly 8,000 new vehicles, a growth rate 18 times higher than the European average. The International Motorhome Show in Parma in September attracted over 107,000 visitors and 320 exhibitors.

The court ruled that such parking restrictions fall under the authority of the administration, not political bodies. In Turin, the sanitary facilities at the Caio Mario camper area on corso Unione Sovietica have been restored and reopened. They were previously damaged due to vandalism and unauthorized use. New rules have been introduced to prevent further incidents: a maximum stay of 7 days, digital license plate registration, a 200 euro deposit, and a 50 euro fine for violations.
