Dutch publication Autovisie has reminded drivers of safety rules when towing a caravan. Swaying of the trailer CAN lead to accidents. Key recommendations: ensure sufficient nose weight, place heavy loads in the center of the caravan over the axle, check tire pressure, and avoid sudden maneuvers. If swaying begins, brake hard without steering or accelerating.
