Freezer temperature in €40,000 caravan reached 12°C

Teemu Tuoma from Pello converted a Scania truck cabin into a sauna and also built a motorhome from a truck chassis. The project took two years, with Tuoma preferring older vehicle models.

Finnish company Wayly has launched a summer campaign for motorhome and caravan rentals. A weekly rental starts at €990, which the company claims can be cheaper than a traditional holiday with hotels and dining. A Summer Deal program offers two months free rental (including taxes and insurance) when signing a 12-month lease, with the lease starting in autumn. The offer is valid until June 30, 2026.

Teemu Tuoma from Kokkola bought a Scania truck two years ago for its good engine, converting the cab into a sauna. He now plans to build a full motorhome on the truck chassis, keeping classic features: nose, visor and V8 engine.
