Finnish company Karoo has introduced the Adventure Camper caravan specifically designed for electric vehicles. The aerodynamic design reduces air resistance by 51% compared to traditional models, helping to preserve driving range. The caravan measures 5.3 meters in length, weighs 1350 kg, and features a lithium-ion battery starting from 2.5 kWh. Deliveries will begin in August 2026 with a starting price of 36,700 euros.

Finnish startup Karoo Camper unveiled the Adventure Camper caravan at Caravan Salon 2025, designed for towing by electric vehicles. The 5.3-meter-long trailer features a 2.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and an aerodynamic design that the manufacturer claims reduces air resistance by 51% compared to conventional models. The starting price is 36,700 euros, with first deliveries scheduled for August 2026.

The small workshop Vanaconda Customs has unveiled a caravan based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Autonomous systems include solar panels up to 600W, a power station, and water tanks. The interior converts from a seating area to a full-size bed and features a separate shower.

A towed caravan overturned on the Ysitie highway in Tampere, blocking traffic. The incident occurred on March 16 around 17:30 near the Karkunvuori tunnel, causing hour-and-a-half-long traffic jams. Two people were in the towing SUV, with no injuries reported.

Major Finnish motorhome retailer Best Caravan has filed for bankruptcy with the court. The company, founded in 2003 with outlets in several Finnish cities and Sweden, had previously attempted a restructuring process.

Tom Nylund purchased a Morelo Palace Liner motorhome valued at over 500,000 euros after a friend informed him of a cancer diagnosis. Nylund, an entrepreneur from Naantali, plans to travel with the vehicle to Lake Garda in Italy.
