Isuzu unveils Elf-based concepts from coffee truck to off-road camper

At the Tokyo Camper Show 2026, Toy-Factory (Kani, Gifu Prefecture) debuted the fully redesigned top-of-the-line camper van DA VINCI 5.4, built on the Fiat Ducato platform. The vehicle is 5.4 meters long, seats two, and features a sliding door.

The 5.41 m model is designed for two people, features a bunk bed with increased width, a 70 L refrigerator, and a 2.2 L diesel engine producing 180 hp. Price starts at 15.84 million yen.

Japanese company Toy-Factory has started sales of the updated DA VINCI 5.4 camper based on the Fiat Ducato. The premiere took place on July 11–12 at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026. The price is 15.84 million yen including tax. Length is 5410 mm, width 2100 mm, height 2525 mm. The vehicle seats four but has two permanent beds. Standard equipment includes a 70-liter refrigerator, microwave, auxiliary heater, dry toilet, 1500 W inverter, and two 95 Ah lead-acid batteries. Air conditioning, lithium batteries, water heater, and shower are optional.

TV chef Frank Rosin from Dorsten has confirmed his participation in the fifth season of the show 'Roadtrip' on Kabel Eins. Together with two colleagues, he will travel in a motorhome to a country he has not visited before for a culinary tour.

Company antiqua has started renting camper vans in Osaka (Kishiwada area). Prices start at 25,000 yen on weekdays and 28,000 yen on weekends. A 20% discount applies for bookings made 30 days in advance.

The second annual camping show at Tokyo Big Sight featured campers from 5 million yen for light vans to 22 million yen for the VILLATOR on FIAT Ducato base, with pop-up roofs and handcrafted details.
