Honda unveiled the Base Station camper prototype, developed through an internal employee idea program. The concept targets modern campers who prefer not to tow a heavy RV. The camper weighs under 3,500 lbs, fits in a standard garage, and features a modular kitchen, external shower, and a genkan (entryway for removing shoes). It can be towed by Honda CR-V or Prologue crossovers equipped with the 3,500-lb towing package.
