Police are investigating a series of caravan arson attacks in Glastonbury, prompting Somerset Council to consider accelerating the development of a temporary site for the 'non-bricks and mortar' community. Three arrests have been made in connection with a fire near the Tesco supermarket on June 13. The council expects to submit formal plans for a new 'meanwhile' site within months, while also pursuing a long-term solution under the £23.6m Glastonbury town deal.
