Local police and carabinieri in Porto d'Ascoli cleared nine caravans that had been parked illegally for over a week in front of the Tonic gym. The law allows a maximum stay of 48 hours, but the vehicles had been there since the previous Thursday. Officers found clotheslines, chickens roaming the asphalt, and piles of rubbish. The camp was dismantled and the occupants were told to leave San Benedetto del Tronto.
