Algovia Vans has introduced the Algovia Escape, a 5.4-meter-long camper based on Opel Movano, Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, or Peugeot Boxer chassis. It features a rear kitchen, a pop-up roof, and optional lithium-ion batteries.

Patrick (57) and Petra (55) Gremmen from Beneden-Leeuwen bought a camper in 2019 and travel regularly across Europe and locally. They reject postponing travel until retirement, instead prioritizing trips with family and friends while still working. The couple plans to volunteer at a Croatian campsite in exchange for a pitch after retiring.

On Friday afternoon in Zonnemaire, a caravan battery exploded. The fire department secured the scene after a call at 15:35. The battery was disconnected, removed, and safely packaged for disposal. No injuries were reported.
