The Port Angeles Food Bank (Washington state) converted its delivery van by installing four refrigerators and freezers. The project was carried out by Camp N Car of Port Townsend using a grant from Olympic Community of Health. The EcoFlo power system allows autonomous operation for up to two days without grid connection, charging from the engine and solar panels. Previously, perishable goods were transported in coolers with ice, which was less efficient and costly.
