Kato Motor and Sanjo Mitsubishi have unveiled the NOCTI camper conversion based on the Mitsubishi Delica D:5. The vehicle retains its 4WD and S-AWC system, as well as standard dimensions (length 4800 mm, width 1815 mm, height 1875 mm). The third row of seats has been removed and replaced with a sleeping module: the second row folds into a double bed. The base NOCTI M version comes with a 600 Ah lithium-ion battery, capable of powering the standard 12V air conditioner, charging while driving and from an external power source. Optional extras include a stationary heater, MAX Fan ceiling fan, microwave oven and solar panel. Sales have started in Japan, with a starting price of 6,044,500 yen.
