Mount Hope, West Virginia, is advancing a plan to build an RV park on land purchased by the federal government after two major floods displaced over 100 families. Mayor Michael Kessinger said the city spent six years developing the vision, which also includes an outdoor amphitheater and trout habitat restoration. Some residents oppose the location in a residential area, suggesting a site near Killsyth instead. Both sides agreed to form a steering committee to address concerns.

The incident occurred on June 7 at a camper or trailer on 10th Avenue in the Florida Keys. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the victim arrived at Lower Keys Medical Center around 3:45 p.m. with a serious injury that authorities said was not life-threatening as of Monday. Four suspects have been arrested.
