The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) has added Craig Ramon to its instructional team as an approved instructor for RV service and generator technician programs. Ramon holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences, RVTAA certifications, and is a 2025 NRVTA graduate. He also runs an RV repair and rental business and previously served as a fire chief for nearly 25 years. The academy stated that his background in emergency services and technical operations will provide students with practical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Booking platform Pitchup.com reported a shift among Americans toward camping as a primary summer vacation, not just a weekend getaway. Average trip length rose from 1.8 to 3.05 days, and booking windows expanded from 25.9 to 44.6 days. Domestic camping bookings increased 69% year-over-year. Globally, bookings for pre-pitched 'ready tents' grew 45% year-over-year, indicating rising interest in low-maintenance outdoor travel.

The former Flagstop Resort & RV Park at Milford Lake, Kansas, has been rebranded as Milford Lake KOA Holiday. Owners renovated all RV sites, added a new bathhouse and laundry facility. New amenities include a dog area called the Paw Pen, sand volleyball, and a large jumping pillow. Deluxe RV sites now come with outdoor furniture and grills.
