A travel trailer was destroyed Sunday afternoon when it struck farm machinery on Round Lake Road near Bucholtz Road in Laurentian Valley, Ontario. The SUV towing the trailer and the tractor with equipment collided around 2:15 p.m., causing the trailer to disintegrate. No injuries were reported.

A couple from Vancouver, after losing their son to a fentanyl overdose, opened an alcohol- and drug-free campground in Nova Scotia. The 8-acre site offers 10 RV hookups, tent sites, a playground, and walking trails. The campground opened last fall but was closed due to wildfires; this is its first full season.
On Haida Gwaii (British Columbia), a solo female van-lifer assisted a family whose mother hit her head and lost memory. The incident occurred at Hayden Turner Campground, where 911 was unavailable. The woman drove the injured mother and three children to the hospital, then returned to her chores.
